Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, the ActewAGL Joint Venture has a duty to eliminate risks to the health and safety of all workers (including contractors) and other persons so far as is reasonably practicable. If it is not reasonably practicable to eliminate risks, they must be minimised so far as is reasonably practicable.
All contractors of the ActewAGL Joint Venture are asked to complete a short form related to health and safety in the workplace. The collection of this data will be used to identify any common injury trends from the incidents reported and will then be used to inform the development of initiatives aimed at providing a safer workplace environment for all.
