Our Board
The ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board is made up of six members.
The Board governs the business of the ActewAGL Retail and ActewAGL Distribution partnerships on behalf of the partners. The obligations of members of the Board are set out in the Umbrella Agreement, and members must perform their duties in good faith and in the best interests of the partnerships as a whole.
David Gillespie
Mr Gillespie is Chair of the ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board. He was appointed to the ActewAGL Board by Jemena on 1 September 2023. He is currently Managing Director at Jemena.
Julie-Anne Schafer
Ms Schafer is Deputy Chair of the ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board. She was appointed to the ActewAGL Board by Icon Water on 1 July 2022 and is also Chair of the ActewAGL Safety, Audit and Risk Committee.
Carol Lilley
Ms Lilley was appointed to the ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board by Icon Water on 1 February 2023. She is currently a non-executive director and Chair of Icon Water Limited, Icon Distribution Investments Limited, and Icon Retail Investments Limited.
Jo Egan
Ms Egan was appointed to the ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board by the AGL Partners in May 2024. She is also a member of the ActewAGL Safety, Audit and Risk Committee.
Yanli Liu
Ms Liu was appointed to the ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board in January 2025. She is Board Director and Deputy Managing Director at Jemena.
Ray Hezkial
Mr Hezkial was appointed to the ActewAGL Joint Venture Partnerships Board by Icon Water in April 2019. He is also a member of the Board of ActewAGL Retail Investments Pty Ltd and ActewAGL Distribution Investments Pty Ltd, and a member of the Boards of Icon Water Limited, Icon Distribution Investments Limited and Icon Retail Investments Limited.
